Fogwash Soap Company is located approximately 6 1/2 miles inland from the beautiful coastal town of Yachats, (pronounced "Ya-Yots"), where it became established back in 1994.
Nestled in the serene coastal mountains where nature seems to make
itself at home and where llamas want to be your friend, is where we find
ourselves specializing in making "Fine Handcrafted Soaps".
Using only the best ingredients we can find, we avoid using alcohol, artificial coloring or melt & pour products. By making soaps the way our ancestors once did, and by using a variety of oils including Olive Oil, Organically Grown Herbs and Fresh Coastal Rainwater, we are able to
create Fine Handcrafted Soaps that bring pleasure to most everyone.
Even today we take great pride in preparing our soaps on an old wood
stove in the kitchen, while paying close attention to the ingredients that
are added, so that soaps may be used by those with the most delicate of
skin, or by those with the roughest of skin.
We are also happy to say that because of the high number of requests,
we are now also going to be offering Fine Lotions, Gift Packs for those
Special Occassions, Soap Sacks and Scrubbies on our Website.
